RP bags awards in international physics tilt

Alex Villafania of INQ7.net writes that Filipino physicists bagged an award in an international competition. Congrats guys! Make the Filipino proud!

Two Filipinos won major awards in the 37th International Physics Olympiad (IPHO) held in Singapore last July 16, the first time that the Philippines won in the prestigious event in 9 years. Dajac Carlo Vincienzio won a bronze medal while John Neil Ortega received an Honorable Mention in the recent IPHO, considered as a stepping stone toward winning a Nobel Prize in Physics.
