The project aims to deploy “honeypots” around the world to share security research and findings…Honeypots are computer systems designed to attract attempts at unauthorized access. The attempts can then be monitored and studied.
Mark Ryan Talabis, lead analyst at the Philippine Honeynet, said the Eurecom Institute of France invited their project to join a recent global initiative.
