Filipino develops $100 budget PC

Perhaps inspired by Nicholas Negroponte’s $100 laptop project, a Filipino has apparently put together components of a PC that will cost Filipinos around $100, according to Alex Villafania’s report at INQ7.net Infotech.

IT’S barely the size of a folder, as thin as a pocket-book and as lightweight as a ream of bond paper. It’s a PC complete with a motherboard, processor and memory storage developed by a Filipino and it only costs 100 US dollars, writes Alex.
