(UPDATE) Thieves break into gaming exec’s car in Makati

(Please read the edited version on INQ7.net).

Below is the raw story I filed early morning today.

Thieves have broken into a local gaming CEO’s  car parked in Esteban street in Makati City on Tuesday night.

They took Flipside Games chief executive officer and co-founder Gabby Dizon‘s red backpack containing his mobile PC and plane ticket, he said.

Shattered glass were found scattered just beside the right-hand side of the rear window.

He has reported the incident to the Makati police.

The incident happened between 8 p.m. and 12 p.m. The car was parked near Murphy’s bar.

There were no witnesses found.

But police on the scene said there was a similar break in reported three weeks ago.

Dizon is the Manila chapter chairman of the International Game Developers Association.

He was in Makati to meet with one of his former colleagues celebrating her birthday.
